With Father's Day less than a week away, recent survey results released by the National Retail Federation,
the world’s largest retail trade association and Prosper Insight and Analytics, predict good news for both retail and service franchise establishments.
According to the NRF's June 7th release, “consumers say they will spend more than ever on Father’s Day this year."
The survey also found 22% of Father’s Day gift shoppers will opt for the gift of "an experience" for Dad, such as tickets to an event or a personal service. An estimated 2 out of 5 Millennials are planning to give experience gifts.
The SBA suggests ways small business owners can capitalize on these projections in a recent blog post, 4 Ways to Market Your Business This Father’s Day.
